The Nature Fairies always tell me, “A little crochet goes a long way.” Sort of like life: we do and undo (and redo) things, and we learn along the way. The process is just as important as the end result.<\/p>

In crochet, the term ‘frogging’ refers to undoing something (ripping out the stitches) and trying again. It can be frustrating, but we persevere. That’s what matters most. I’ve been working on a nightgown for one of my characters\/puppets, and crocheted a little sample of the stitches I’d use. It turned out to be perfect, so I started work on the miniature project. No longer needing the sample, I thought it would be fun to animate the process of crocheting and frogging something.<\/p>

Fun fact: I did this as an little experiment, to see how smooth I could animate without onion-skinning. Just goes to show how crucial onion-skinning is to the animation process. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>
