The Petal Gatherers were busy one morning. Fairy Gloria‘s work table was covered with blue flowers, and jars stood in a neat little row next to her. 🫙 Meanwhile, Fairy Forevermore arranged petals in the jars, making sure they were as cozy as possible. 🌸
“Just a little bit more,” said Fairy Gloria, peering into the basket. “Nearly there.” 🩵
Fairy Forevermore couldn’t tell if her friend was talking to her, or to the petals. 💙
After a little while, the two Fairies swapped places. Fairy Forevermore sorted the flowers, and Fairy Gloria worked with the jars. ✨
“I wish spring would last forever,” sighed Fairy Gloria. “Then the flowers could be out for much longer. What happens if we run out of jars?” 💭
“We can put them in the Very Big Basket,” Fairy Forevermore replied, gesturing to the flower basket they had borrowed from Dorothy. “At the rate we’re going, we’ll be preserving the whole meadow!” 💐
